Where to Find Me Next

The blog has been good to me, but like all large portions of meat, it needs a little time to rest. In a marinade, perhaps, or maybe in its own juices. I don’t completely know because I don’t cook that much meat, but the simile does seem to break down if you let it go too long. Not unlike turkey in an overnight brine.

Hm.

Anyway, I’m going to pause the blog for a bit while I try to finish my romantic comedy novel. The novel doesn’t have anything to do with denaturing protein, but it is shaping up nicely, and I’d like to be able to query it this winter.

Don’t let your hearts be troubled! I’ll still be sending my monthly newsletter filled with reading, watching, and listening recommendations. There’s also a short blog-ish section each month where we cover important topics like charcuterie, mason jars, and dopamine addiction. You should subscribe here, if you know what’s good for you.

AND a new venture: I’ve launched a blogcast. Not a podcast, mind you; I do not wish to court the MeUndies overlords for ad time, nor will I share my thoughts without a delete key at the ready. I’m just reading my blogs. It’s an audio offering so that you, a busy person, can enjoy my posts as you go about your candle dipping or cuckoo-clock winding or whatever else you must do.

This is a (tremendously generous and much-clamored for) service to my readers, of course, but it is also a step toward my ultimate life goal of owning a multimedia empire. Don’t worry; I’m working on the branded cookware. And a lifestyle magazine in which I pose for the front cover draped in cats and rich wood finishes.

You can find the blogcast here, or wherever you get your podcasts as long as that’s one of the two places that hosts me:

Spotify

Amazon Music

Apple Podcasts takes up to two weeks to post new shows, so if we all say a prayer to the AI gods and maybe it will be up before the next episode.

See you on the radio! And eventually back here, I promise.
